My Name is Luke Murphy. I was born in New York, New York. Lived in New York untill I was about three years old. Then my dad received a job offer in California so my family and I moved there. That is where I began my journey with basketball. I started playing with my older brother Ryan who started to play as well. However my Dad got a job offer back on the east coast in Connecticut so we had to move again. I played all throughout my childhood into my freshman year of high school. Then once again my dad got another job offer back in California. Which was our final stop. I was very fortunate to live on both coasts because they are very different from each other but I loved both. In having that I learned that while playing basketball that each coast had a different style of play and really help my improve my game. I finished my sophomore through senior year of high school back in California.
